Foot, Ankle & Heel Pain
Comprehensive assessment for any pain in the foot, ankle or heel that is affecting how you walk or stand.
If you are diabetic, have any allergies, or have any other medical condition, please inform our team before your treatment or before using any product. This helps us keep you safe and recommend the right care for you.
Not every foot, ankle or heel pain fits neatly into a single category like plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendinopathy. Many patients come to Roshan's Foot Care with general or unclear pain — aching arches, sore ankles after standing all day, pain that moves around, or discomfort that started after an old injury never properly assessed.
Common causes we investigate
Poor footwear support, abnormal walking patterns (gait), old untreated sprains, joint strain from flat feet or high arches, nerve compression, arthritis-related changes, and simple overuse from long hours on hard floors, tiled bathrooms, or Islamabad's paved walkways.
Our assessment process
We take a full history of when and how the pain started, examine your gait and foot structure, check joint movement and tenderness, and consider whether footwear, weight-bearing pattern, or an underlying condition such as diabetes or arthritis is contributing. Based on this, we build a treatment plan that may include footwear advice, custom orthotic support, targeted stretching or strengthening guidance, and referral to a physiotherapist or physician where the issue extends beyond what non-surgical podiatry can resolve.
Why early assessment matters
Pain that is ignored often leads to compensating — walking differently to avoid the sore area — which can create a second problem elsewhere in the foot, knee, hip or back. Getting an accurate assessment early prevents this chain reaction.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should foot or ankle pain be checked by a professional?
If pain lasts more than a few days, affects how you walk, or comes with swelling, numbness or a wound, it should be assessed rather than waiting it out.
What can cause ongoing heel or ankle pain?
Common causes include plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon strain, poor footwear, foot shape issues like flat feet, or an old injury that never fully healed.
